For Parents

Players ages 10 to 14 who want to get better and have fun doing it — rec players who want more touches, kids newer to the game, and players getting ready for a travel tryout. Lessons cover basic and intermediate skills.

Personal training is $35 for a one-hour session, one player and one coach. Each sibling or friend who joins adds $10 an hour. 30-minute and 1½-hour sessions are charged at the same hourly rate.

At three parks: Hazel Wood Park and Patricia Allyn Park in Springboro, and Bowman Park in Waynesville. Pick the one closest to you on the sign-up form.

No — any player who can get to one of the three parks. Families come from Springboro, Clearcreek Township, Franklin, Carlisle, Miamisburg, Centerville, Washington Township, Lebanon and Middletown, and on the Bowman Park side from Waynesville, Corwin, Lytle, Harveysburg, Oregonia, Spring Valley and Bellbrook.

No — you are welcome to stay and watch, but you do not have to. A parent or guardian just needs to give Jackson a phone number where you can be reached for the whole session.

A ball (size 3, 4 or 5 for their age), shin guards, cleats or turf shoes, and a full water bottle. Jackson brings cones, a second ball and a pop-up goal.

Light rain, we play. Thunder or lightning, we stop and reschedule — no charge.

Yes — $10 an hour for each extra player, so two players for an hour is $45. Tell us how many on the sign-up form; a small group with a sibling or a teammate works well.
